Questionnaire

Thank you for completing an inquiry form! If there is space available for the program that you are interested in and we believe that PGHE is the best fit for your child’s needs, you will be notified via email when to begin completing your enrollment questionnaire. Please allow 24-48 hours after inquiry submission for review.

Interview

Once your questionnaire has been submitted, a link to schedule your interview will be emailed as well. 

Interviews are typically scheduled throughout the week from 1:00pm-2:30pm (with the exception of Wednesdays). On occasion, we may be able to accommodate an interview on the weekend or after hours. 

Discovery Day

Should you choose PGHE and your family is a good fit for our program, an invitation to attend a discovery day will be emailed to you.

Discovery days are very important and required for consideration into our program. There’s nothing more terrifying for a child, then to be placed in an unfamiliar environment, with a stranger, all day. It’s also a great way for both parties to learn more about each other and address any questions or concerns that may come up. That’s why our discovery day is a half day program*  (4 hours maximum), where you and your child get to “test out” our program prior to enrollment. 

Your child must do well during their discovery day to be considered for enrollment (children will be children so “do well” simply means they are not a threat to themselves or others; hitting, biting etc, are able to drink from a bottle (breastfed infants), eat and drink independently or with minimal assistance (toddlers & preschoolers)). 

*There is a $40 non-refundable and non-transferrable fee associated with each discovery day.

Enrollment Decision

Enrollment decisions are typically made 48-72 hours after a discovery day. If your child is accepted into PGHE, an acceptance letter outlining your child’s enrollment status will be sent via email, along with a text notification. 

You must accept or deny enrollment within 2 days or we will assume that you are no longer interested in our program and move on to the next family. Upon receipt of your acceptance, the registration fee is due within 3 days

If you are unable to adhere to the time frames listed above, we would be happy to place you on our waiting list and notify you when another space becomes available. (Another discovery day would not be necessary unless it has been more than 3 months since your child’s last discovery day).

Registration Fee & Deposit

Since tuition is paid prior to services being rendered, we only ask that our families pay an initial and annual registration fee to cover the cost of supplies for the year, along with their first tuition payment (dependent upon your preferred payment frequency). Initial and annual fees are as follows:

1 child…………………………..$85

2 children………………………..$160

Each additional child………$40 

Please note: Annual registration fees are due at the beginning of each school year (typically the first week in September. Annual fees are not applicable to new families who enroll after June 30th).

Enrollment Packet

Once your registration fee has been obtained, you will receive an enrollment packet via email. The enrollment packet should be completed in its entirety, and a signed physical form and immunization record must be on file at least 3 days prior to your child being enrolled. If your child does not receive immunizations due to religious reasons, a form will be made available to you.  

Inside of your enrollment packet will be a copy of our parent handbook. It is imperative that you not only read the handbook in its entirety, but sign the last page (unless you have questions) and turn it in along with your enrollment packet. All questions or concerns must be received in writing (via email or text) should you have any.

Once all documents have been received, reviewed and approved, you will be contacted via email and may select an enrollment date that works best for you.

Whether you’re looking for more information about one of the programs we’re currently enrolling for or want to secure a spot on our waitlist, your first step is to complete an inquiry form.

Please note: Since there is typically one person caring for children and we hold ourselves to very high standards, we are usually unable to answer any inquiry questions via phone during business hours as we try to limit our phone usage to parents of enrolled children only. So for the fastest response, please email at admin@yourpghe.com if you have any questions.

If time allows during our day that doesn’t compromise our standards of care, we will make every effort to return your phone call. Otherwise, please expect to hear back from us within 48 hours.

That’s why our discovery day is a half day program*  (4 hours maximum), where you and your child get to “test out” our program prior to enrollment. 

Your child must do well during their discovery day to be considered for enrollment (we know children will be children. So “do well” simply means they are not a threat to themselves or others; hitting, biting etc). This also helps us identify and address any concerns that we may have as well. 

*There is a $30 non-refundable and non-transferrable fee associated with each discovery day to cover the cost of your child’s supplies for the day.
